Cecilia Niemes Actress of Ecuador

Cecilia Niemes, 25 years of career

It was seen in modeling at the end of 1984. I was 17 years old and in a hurry to demonstrate on the catwalk the safety and development with the dice I was born

Cecilia Niemes, who is now 42 years old and in charge of an agency with fourteen branches throughout the
country, remembers that then, as now, the thought that is always impulsive and grows as a person and professional was:

"Life is beautiful""Due to the possibility we have of reaching our goals, we just have to propose it." His words sound like advice, the same ones that, he confesses, he gives to the students of CN Models, a company that started as an academy and then became an agency and producer of television programs, such as' Fashion, perfumes and something else . . ', which is broadcast on ETV Telerama, and events, such as the Fashion Week of Ecuador, which is organized annually on the Ecuadorian coast. From the beginning he remembers that his first formal work as a model was the cover of the magazine Hogar.

"In this situation, they put the girls with lips and fine features, it was quite the opposite. I dressed in a red blouse with the lips made in the same tone," he says.

Then came the interviews by the company that formed the year after launching as a model. She was encouraged by her parents, Alfredo and Rocío, who concluded their studies at the Pan American High School, convinced that they would send her to Miami to take a course at the Barbizon Modeling School.

"There I learned to model, make up and comb my hair."Upon returning, he says, he taught drawing and painting with his sisters, Katherine and Rocío. "A mother asked me to teach her daughter to walk and behave. She and two of her friends were my first students. At three months I already had 40 who wanted the same instruction.

The first place of CN Models opened it in Urdesa 24 years ago "and I have not stopped. My best publicity was my students who, from shy, became extroverted and safe in themselves. Some were also queens of their schools, of the city and even from the country. "Now with several stores, 12 schedules and 30 people per course - which last six months - Niemes says she is satisfied with the work she does, because she was able to discover talents that have shown the country in beauty and modeling certificates and have dabbled on television . "Many people ask me why I open academies in small cities.

He answers that everywhere there is a diamond to polish."In his case, he says, the formula for his success is the passion that prints what he does. It also has the update, so it takes courses such as the European Mode Master System, in Madrid, for owners of modeling academies. To celebrate the 24 years of CN Models and the 25th of the race, Niemes will be held this Saturday, starting at 7:00 pm, a gala in which he will incorporate 300 of his students. It will be at the Simón Bolívar Convention Center.
